Libby works with her clients at any stage of the project - from early in the construction stage to putting the finishing touches to a completed project.
Prior to entering the field of interior design, Libby Marx had an extensive background in Radio and Television. She was producer and co-host for National Public Radio's "Arts Alive". She is also an ACE Award TV feature broadcaster, and in the late 90's was Arts and Entertainment Editor for WB10 TV, Naples, Florida.
While co-owner of a Naples art gallery, she developed her interest in color theory and residential interior design. Graduating in 2000, from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale's Interior Design Degree program, she was awarded the Art Institute's "Highest Achievement" Award.
After graduation, she worked at the Expo Design Center, Fort Lauderdale as a "whole house/multi room project designer". While there, she hosted a series of decor seminars, as well as color seminars for 'Traditional Home' magazine. At the Home & Garden Show - South Florida, which featured Christopher Lowell, she presented "The Changing World of Design" on the Home Improvement Stage fourteen times to standing room only audiences. TV's Deco Drive featured her on camera in a makeover of a summer kitchen.
Libby's decorating ideas and mentions have also appeared in newspapers, magazines and websites nationally, including the Fort Lauderdale 'Sun Sentinal', Augusta Chronicle, Toledo Blade, Aramillo Globe, Holland Sentinel, and 'N' Magazine.
In 2002, Libby joined Carls Furniture Stores as Trade Division Manager, where her full page color advertisements appeared in Florida Design Magazine.
